Sustainable Energy Youth Network (SEYN) wants to empower young people to actively contribute to the energy transition movement towards a fossil-fuel-free era. SEYN aims to sensitize and motivate mainly young people to the challenges of climate change and the necessity of developing sustainable means of energy production by the local communities, which can contribute to the preservation of the biodiversity of the planet and to promote a social cooperative model of human development.

In what ways can an energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources be achieved? What is the role of energy cooperatives in this transition and how they can strengthen their structures and modes of operation? These are some of the topics of the conference held on September 6 in Sifnos.
