5th Greenwave Festival Published: 10 September 2015 Bright and dark moments of the history of Thessaloniki will be presented through a rich and diverse program devoted to the city's struggles and movements and also to the modern solidarity initiatives triggered by the crisis. The festival is organised for the 5th year, by the ecological Movement Thessaloniki on 17-20 of September, at the municipal park beside the Garden Theater, with the support of the Heinrich Böll Foundation Greece.

Sustainability & Culture - Sustainable Cultural Management Published: 15 July 2014 The international conference "Sustainability and Culture: Sustainable Cultural Management" took place on 19 and 20 April 2013 in Thessaloniki, Greece and was organised by the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Greece and the European theatre network Mitos21. The term “sustainability” is primarily associated with the theories and the approaches of ecology. The international conference “Sustainability and Culture: Sustainable Cultural Management” was intended to shed light on yet another aspect of this very fertile perception of contemporary reality.
