Rights & Diversity

Within the “Schools for Change” project are organized training workshops on human rights with the participation of students in primary, secondary and high schools. The project aims to sensitize teachers and students on human rights and gender equality issues in order to combat all forms of discrimination. This could be achieved through the development of the students’ personal, social and learning skills in order to create a democratic and proper school that, through its cooperation with civil society, encourages students to take action to tackle discrimination and exclusion in schools and every social environment.  

Open to the sea and open to the world. Are the residents of Thessaloniki willing to return to the vision of the once multi-cultural city, especially in times of crisis when the diversity is perceived as a burden? How is history perceived in a city that defines itself as cosmopolitan, if not as a confrontation over public space? (read more in german)
