Ioanna Theodosiou is involved in the formulation of policies for a just transition in Greece and Europe as well as in the development of community energy and energy democracy. She monitors developments in national, European and international policies and laws on environment, biodiversity, energy, climate change and sustainable development. Her previous work included advocating for sustainable agrifood systems. Ioanna is an agronomist who graduated from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at the Agricultural University of Athens. She, then, completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Economic and Regional Development at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Before joining the Green Tank in 2020, she served as Scientific Associate of the President of the Special Permanent Committee on Environmental Protection and the Subcommittee on Water Resources of the Hellenic Parliament.
