Evangelos Astyrakakis Aslanis (he/him) runs the Foreign & Security Policy Programme contributing to the Office’s work on foreign policy narratives and global structural change for a green, feminist and rules-based approach to diplomacy. As a Gender Focal Point, he is also responsible for incorpotating the gender dimension into all projects of the Office.

Prior to joining the Foundation’s Thessaloniki Office, he worked with the International Criminal Court and the United Nations at the Office of the High commissioner for human rights.

With a background in International Relations, Evangelos holds a professional master's degree in International Administration from Sorbonne Law Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
