
Christina Kontaxi is a graduate of the Department of Marine Science at the University of the Aegean and has a Master in Water Resources Science & Technology from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master in EU Studies for which she was awarded a Jean Monnet scholarship from the Center international de formation Européenne. She holds a Certificate of Teaching and Pedagogical Competence. She was a permanent civil servant (2007 - 2014) in the Directorate of Environment & Spatial Planning of the Region of Central Macedonia, a position from which she resigned. She has been a scientific expert (2010 - 2014) in the Board of Directors of the Management Agency of Karpathos - Saria and subsequently its coordinator (2015). She is currently a freelance professional and oversees the environmental/spatial aspects of the trails, as well as the conformity of the operations with the current legislation, for the Social Cooperative Enterprise Paths of Greece.
