Ioannis Papadopoulos is an Associate Professor at the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia and lab Director of the Research Centre of Democracy & Law. His research interests are political philosophy and philosophy of law, European policies, as well as public and comparative law. He is also an author and editor, on his own as well as with others, of many articles in international scientific journals as well as of six books, one of which has received two international awards. He has been a visiting professor at University Paris I and Science Po in Paris, as well as an academic partner of the Institute of High Studies in Justice (Paris), of the Committee of Industry, Research and Energy of the European Parliament and of of one President of the Supreme Court of France.
