William is an American photographer and activist based in Amsterdam. He strongly believes in the transformational ability of photography coupled with personal storytelling. With Witness Change from its early beginnings, William ensures that the stories the organization tells, reach both wide and specific audiences. William has a first hand understanding of Witness Change’s storytelling process, participating directly in field work and supporting Robin Hammond in documenting many of their stories. William has visited multiple Witness Change partners which has given him a deep knowledge of their needs and how Witness Change can best support them through humanizing storytelling.
