Σοφία Τσάδαρη

Sofia Tsadari has many years of proven experience covering a wide range of studies and supervision at different scales of design. She has completed her PhD thesis on the Athens district of Elaionas and has gained academic and research experience. Her research interests include urban transformations and the impact of multiple crises on the urban environment. She has served as a lecturer at the School of Architecture of Xanthi, has worked in urban planning research and studies, has participated for two years in the study group of the Athens - Attica Regulatory Plan (AARP) and in the team of drafting maps/diagrams/publication documents for the AARP. She has published in international and national urban planning conferences. She also has experience in building studies and supervision of public and private projects and has participated in architectural competitions and won awards. In recent years she has been systematically collaborating in the support of integrated spatial plans in Greek Regions and Municipalities in urban and non-urban areas. She has a broad knowledge of design programs and experience in coordinating design teams and supervising/coordinating project and participatory design workshops. She is a professional engineer/ing license holder in categories 6 and 7. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greek Association of Urban & Regional Planners.
