Olympia Datsi has been active in the youth sector for the last 15 years as a youth worker, trainer, and project manager. Her professional experience is mostly at coordination and management levels in Educational, Humanitarian and Development projects and includes involvement in transitional settings from Humanitarian response to sustainable solutions. Protection of rights with emphasis on the vulnerable and forced displaced population has always been at the core of her deployments. She has coordinated various groups of people and she relies on this solid experience of working in a variety of different regions, leading multicultural teams, to provide strong people management skills by having engaged with different institutions and international organizations. She is founding member of the Hellenic Youth Workers Association and the Educational Platform for the Social Solidarity Economy (kalomathe.gr), member of the Greek pool of trainers of Erasmus Plus, the European Solidarity Corps and the British Council. She is particularly active in the field of volunteering and since March 2022, she is the Thessaloniki Area Manager for ActionAid Greece.
