Manos Matsaganis is Professor of Public Finance at Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy. He was trained as an economist in Greece (AUEB) and in England (MSc York; PhD Bristol). He worked at the London School of Economics (1990-93), the Greek Prime Minister’s Office (1997-2001), the University of Crete, Greece (1996-99 & 2001-04), and the Athens University of Economics and Business (2004-16). He has been an advisor to international organizations such as the European Commission, the OECD, UNICEF, and the World Bank.
