Luděk Stavinoha is Associate Professor in Media and Global Development at the University of East Anglia. His research focuses on the politics of humanitarianism, migrant solidarity and EU border control. With expertise in the use Freedom of Information mechanisms, he has also collaborated on investigations into EU migration management and mass surveillance published in Balkan Insight, Le Monde, Der Spiegel and Al Jazeera.
