Lina (Triantafullia) Papadopoulou is an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Department of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holder of Jean Monnet Chair "European Constitutional Law and Culture", and academic coordinator of the Jean Monnet Centre for Excellence "European Constitutionalism and Religion (s)" (2018-2021).She studied Law (degree: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,1993 and master’s degree: Trier, Germany 1994), and Political Theory (master’s degree, London School of Economics, 1999), and completed her PhD in European constitutional law at Hanover on the topic of “Political Interpretation and Specialization of Article 191 (former 138A) EC Treaty (Nomos 1999) with a scholarship from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (1996-98).She worked at the LSE (1999-2001) and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as a post-doctorate grant holder Marie Curie of the European Commission.(2001-02).She has also taught at the Department of Political Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and at universities abroad. Her publications deal with issues falling within the Greek and European constitutional law, fundamental rights and bioethical problems.
