Laura Roth is an academic researcher and activist based in Spain. She is interested in municipalism, feminism and democracy and she currently works as a postdoc at Jaume I University and also as coordinator of Minim Municipalist Observatory. Among other texts, she has recently published the “Feminise politics now!” report on municipalism and feminist practices in politics. She also writes for media such as Roar Magazine, Open Democracy, ElDiario.es, El Salto, Público, and others. After being an activist at Barcelona en Comú for many years, she now lives in the Basque Country.
