Hara Kouki is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Crete ("Social Inequalities and Social Rights"), while she also teaches at the postgraduate programme "Social and Solidarity Economy" at the Hellenic Open University. Trained as a historian at the University of Athens, she continued her studies at the University of Kent and the European University of Florence, and completed her PhD at Birkbeck College, University of London. Hara has worked as a research fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University of Florence, the Department of Geography at Durham University and at the Open Lab at Newcastle University. She has also participated in various research projects and published on issues dealing with social movements and the commons, migrants’ integration and technosocial infrastructures.
