Giorgos Christides is a Greece-based journalist. He has been reporting on political, economic and social issues for a number of international outlets, including Der Spiegel and the BBC, for over a decade. He has received multiple journalism awards, most recently for investigative projects focusing on migration. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1976, he studied journalism, politics and international relations at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and the University of Edinburgh (UK).
He's one of our 2023 Climate Disinformation Media Fellows.
