Dimitris Poulios was born in 1984 in Volos. He studied Architecture at the University of Thessaly in Volos, where he graduated in 2010. He continued his studies in Urban Design at Cardiff University (UK) with a scholarship from the Bodossakis Foundation. His scientific interests are in the field of Urban Design, Urban Planning, Spatial Policies and Participatory Planning. He is co-founder of Commonspace, an interdisciplinary group created in 2015 that aims to promote participatory processes. In 2021, he completed his PhD in Urban Planning from NTUA, as an Onassis Foundation Scholar. He has distinguished himself in architectural and urban planning competitions and has gained experience in projects in Greece and abroad (UK, Albania, Cyprus, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.). In 2013 he joined the team of Thimios Papagiannis and Partners, as a consultant-partner in Urban Planning and Urban Design projects and since 2020 as a partner.
