Dimitris Pettas was born in 1984 in Athens. He holds a PhD in Urban Social Geography and is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technische Universität Berlin. He has worked as a researcher at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens, at the Department of Economic and Regional Development of Panteion University and at the Centre for Research in the Humanities. He teaches in the postgraduate programme "Social and Solidarity Economy" at the Hellenic Open University.
