Alexandros Kioupkiolis is an assistant professor at the Department of Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in "Contemporary Political Theories" and in charge of the research project "Heteropolitics. Refiguring the common and the political". His research interests focus on modern philosophy of freedom, philosophy of law, theories of democracy, analysis and critique of power. He is the author of numerous publications on the commons in various languages.
