A Polish sociologist engaged in both the theory and practice of creating a more sustainable food system. A researcher at the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences, studying organic farming, short food supply chains, and the challenges of climate change in relation to food production. She is a fellow at universities in the USA and Finland. Leader of the Polish research team within the European SWIFT project, which aims to strengthen the presence of women in agriculture and their involvement in innovations that contribute to building a sustainable agricultural sector in Europe.
