Costis Hadjimichalis is an emeritus professor in the Department of Geography at Harokopio University. He has taught in the School of Architecture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1980–1997) and in the Department of Geography at Harokopio University (1997–2012), and, as a visiting professor, at universities in Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Australia.
