Laurent Standaert is the Director of the Green European Foundation. He was the political director of the Belgian Green Party, Ecolo, during 2019-2022 and the Editor-in-Chief of the Green European Journal during 2015-2019. Before that he worked for international institutions and NGOs in West Africa and in Brussels. Laurent studied anthropology at LSE in London, economics at Solvay-ULB in Brussels, and ethics at UCL, Belgium. He is lucky to be the father of the great Lena.
