Maria Roidi is a youth worker and project manager in the youth field since 2015. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in "European Youth Policies, Education, and Culture" from the University of Macedonia. Currently, she is pursuing a postgraduate degree in "Local and Regional Development". Maria currently serves as a Youth Programme Coordinator and Youth Worker at ActionAid Hellas, where her responsibilities include coordinating youth activities and managing youth programs.
Her journey in youth political engagement began at a young age when she was elected as a Local Councilor in the Municipality of Sykies at just 19 years old in 2010. Her dedication to youth causes led her to continue her service as a Municipal Councilor in 2014. Since 2010, Maria has been actively involved in managing youth-related projects and programs, both at the local and international levels.
On an international scale, Maria is the President of the Youth Social Rights Network, an international network that advocates for youth's access to social rights. She has also been a member of the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe.
