Born and raised in small-town, rural Bavaria in the south of Germany, I always felt the urge to go about and explore the world. After a yearlong student exchange to Malaysia at age 15, the seal was broken and I have since lived, worked, and studied in France, Belgium, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
