Chris Sakellaridis is a trainer, poet, and translator. He has worked as a teacher and workshop leader in many educational settings in the UK, Greece, Italy, Cyprus and the Netherlands, including work with excluded and vulnerable young people and as a trade union representative. He has designed and coordinated youth programmes with a European focus for the Green Institute of Greece and has translated and edited a range of academic texts in the Social and Environmental Sciences, Literature and Music. His academic background is in Anthropology and Literature and his research focus is on developing participatory curricula that foster the imagination and a connection to the physical world.
