Sokratis Seitanidis is a spatial planning engineer (Phd, MSc, MA) in the Region of Central Macedonia. He has participated in a variety of studies, in different roles - as a public/private employee, researcher or planner - and at different scales, from neighbourhood planning to regional spatial planning. He is the author of 9 articles (in journals, conferences and book) on urban or spatial planning issues and has participated in 4 relevant European/international workshops, winning as many grants. In the context of the action research of his PhD thesis on "Spatial Planning and Commons", the Urban Planning Neighbourhood Committee of Karatasios Park was established. He participates in writing research proposal methodology on urban commons, action research and participatory planning issues and contributes to the efforts of associations and collectives on public space and greenery.
