Plastic in Greece #10 Landfills instead of recycling

Greece is far behind in terms of waste management. Dozens of landfills all over the country, EU fines, failure to meet the European target for reuse/recycling at 50% - all these create a situation in which we all need to react.

This video is a production of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Thessaloniki, Greece. It was created as part of the publication Plastic Atlas, produced by the Heinrich Böll Stiftung and Break Free From Plastic. The adaptation of the Atlas for Greece was carried out by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Thessaloniki office, in cooperation with the Ecological Recycling Society, Greenpeace Greece and WWF Greece.
