Human rights & Democracy in School

12-13.04.2019, Thessaloniki (1st Floor YPSILON, Edessis 5)

On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 of April 2019, the Local Thematic Health Education Network "For a participatory and democratic school", the Centre of Research and Action for Peace, ANTIGONE and the Gender Alliance Initiative, in cooperation with Heinrich Boell Foundation Greece, joined forces for a seminar for educators on gender identity, democracy and human rights in school wit the title "Human Rights & Democracy in School"! This seminar was a follow-up on two other seminars on gender identity organized in Athens by the Centre of Research and Action for Peace with the support of the Heinrich Boell Foundation Greece on 15-16.02.2019 & 22-23.02 2019, where more than 60 teachers of all grades as well as others interested from structures pertaining to education.

The "Human Rights & Democracy in School" seminar was addressed to educators of all grades, interested in incorporating the principles of democratic education into their daily practice in schools and who run or are interested to run pertinent programmes and actions with the students.
