The Social Entrepreneurship Forum 2014 takes place on 20 - 21 November at Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens under the framework of the Social Entrepreneurship Week Greece. It aims to strengthen the social and cooperative economy and to promote its impact on the local economy and community with the support of the regional and local authorities. The subjects to be discussed concern:
- The development of social and solidarity economy, role in local economy, cooperation opportunities with local authorities
- Enhancing cooperation between local authorities and social enterprises in a European Framework
- Local authorities and social enterprises in the areas of the environment and recycling-reuse
- Social and sustainability clauses in public procurement: legal rules and practice
- Tools and methods for measuring and reporting on social impact
- Energy cooperatives in Greece: Potentials and Challenges
- Youth participation in the promotion of energy cooperative practices
- Strategies, tools and good practices for social enterprises’ models development in Europe
- New instruments for financing Social Enterprises: Good practices in Europe
- Producing, remaking and selling in our network through participation
The Forum is realised with the support of the European Commission representation Office in Greece, the European Parliament Office in Greece, the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, the Union of Cooperative Banks of Greece and INNOVATHENS - Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub at Technopolis – City of Athens.
