Policy workshop, 30/10/2014, 15.00-17.00, at Athens, Impact Hub, Karaiskaki 28
Political and technological developments in the field of immigration control as well as organized interests attached to them are forcing an evolution on European border control and immigration policy. The policy workshop is aiming to exchange knowledge and inform key stakeholders in Greece and abroad about developments in these issues as well as offer a forum for discussion.
The workshop is organised by the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Greece. It forms part of the conclusion of the 'MIDAS' project following up on the final conference in the morning session which investigates the costs of irregular migration control practices in Greece and assesses their effectiveness against their outcomes.
